3. Over a dress
A shacket thrown over a simple slip dress or a knit dress adds structure and a bit of edge. Keep the dress fitted and the shacket loose for the best balance, and roll the sleeves once.
4. Belted, as an outer layer
Belt it at the waist over a thin turtleneck and you have something close to a light coat. This works especially well in black leather, which looks sharp and keeps its shape.
5. Evening: one bold color
